Overcoming Adversity in the Land of Smiles

My name is Alex and I have been in Thailand as a resident since 1998, I was here for a 2-month visit in 1997 but settled here in 1998.

Real Thai Problems came about due to having to solve many of the everyday problems encountered in The Land of Smiles by myself.

Eventually, I thought it would be a good idea to write down what I have seen and done to remain here for the last 26 years and keep my sanity. Anyone who has been here for a while will understand that comment.

I have taken my knowledge and the knowledge of others and put them here, so others will discover the beauty of Thailand while avoiding some of the pitfalls
